We know that heading out to see live theatre for the first time in a year will be really exciting, but that you might also have some concerns. Here's how we're keeping everyone safe:
We’ve organised seating in the Makerspace so that you’ll be at a safe distance from those outside your household, if restrictions require it.
At Front of House, you’ll be asked to queue 2m from any other groups in the courtyard if necessary, to keep you safe while we check you in.
We’ll ask you to use our hand sanitiser on entry, and the Makerspace is cleaned thoroughly before and after every performance.
Our artists have been working in bubbles, using remote working where possible to plan their shows, and with the minimum number of team members necessary on site.
Each show has a small number of tickets available to watch the performance seated in our Makerspace. They’re limited at the moment because of government restrictions, and we know that being able to watch theatre in person after so long will be a very special experience. In the event that we aren’t able to host you in person, you are guaranteed a live-streaming ticket, and we’ll refund you in full.
All our live-streaming tickets start at a small charge of £4 (inc. booking fee), and we invite you to contribute more if you are able. You’ll be helping to support our artists’ careers and build a sustainable future for the Makerspace.
This project is supported using public funding from Arts Council England. We'd also like to thank the team at Portland Works for their support as our venue partners, making this season possible. Find out more about Portland Works here.
